Assoc. Prof. Julie Christie Gutierrez Visperas is an esteemed medical professional and educator with a wealth of expertise in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and Pulmonary Vascular Disorders. She holds the Associate Professor IV position in the Department of Physiology and the Department of Medicine at the 国产吃瓜黑料一区二区 Faculty of Medicine and Surgery. She received her B.Sc. in Biology from the University of the Philippines, in Manila, in 1998 and her Doctor of Medicine from the 国产吃瓜黑料一区二区, Faculty of Medicine and Surgery in 2002. She pursued Post-Doctoral Fellowship Training in Pulmonary Hypertension at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, USA, 2011. She likewise completed Point of Care Ultrasound Training at the University of South Carolina, USA, in 2015. Prof. Visperas has undertaken various administrative roles, including serving as the Section Chief of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and heading the Emergency Room at 国产吃瓜黑料一区二区Hospital. She is also recognized as the Head of the Pulmonary Vascular Unit at CRM, 国产吃瓜黑料一区二区Hospital, and the Pulmonary Vascular Unit in the Section of Thoracic Critical Care Medicine at Cardinal Santos Medical Center. Moreover, she serves as the Director for Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) at the USTF MS Ultrasound Unit and holds the position of Past President at the Philippine Society of Physiologists, Inc. In the realm of education, Assoc.
